Swimming Location

As of 4:37 on May 9, the First Annual FV3 Triathlon confirmed a swimming location: the Green Valley swimming pool off of Euclid and Slater. The venue offers an exciting array of 6 lanes filled with between 3 and 5 feet of chlorinated water - truly something for everyone!

Once again, speedos will not be tolerated (Charlie). Other prohibited clothing and accessories includes:
  1. Webbed Gloves (Miss Monson)
  2. Snorkels (Timmy T)
  3. Spiked Footwear (Blur)
  4. Fins (Dolphie)
  5. Two-piece swimsuits (Huff n' Farr)

I'm wondering about route details. It looks like we are doing direct transitions from the pool to the bike to the run. Will the PCH segment of the bike be on the road or on the beach trail or in the parking lot?

and why are we running on major streets when we have a park that we are starting and ending in. Grass would be safer and less impact.
